Hello from the Schmucker Family! We are so thrilled that you are interested in learning more about what we do and who we are!
I'm Rudy Schmucker and I am the owner and operator of Leaning S Land and Cattle. My love of farming and ranching has been cultivated since I was young. I grew up in an Amish Community where we always had animals and livestock. We lived off of the land as much as possible. When I met Jesus for real, my life was radically changed. I wanted so badly to pursue Him with all that I am, so I searched for ways to serve Him with my life. I ended up finding work in Camping Ministry. I was able to work with horses and influence people for Chirst. I worked for camping ministry on and off for 15 years (since I was 17 years old). God taught me a lot about myself in those years. Although I love camping ministry, God has always had on my heart to return to ranching but with furthering His Kingdom at the forefront. So here I am with my family, pursuing what God wants me to do. Speaking of family....I would love for you to learn a little about mine!
Meet Ali Schmucker
She is my wife of nine years! We met while working in camping ministry together. Although she did not grow up around farming and ranching, her desire to learn and serve others fit right along with my plans. Ali grew up in southeast Kansas, where she played volleyball in college and eventually obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She enjoys doing many different things but her passions in life are being a stay at home mom, teaching young women about Jesus, and coaching volleyball (if she has the time).
Meet the Schmucker Boys!
Stetson, Emmett, and Deacon are blonde little bundles of energy! They enjoy watching movies, playing with their cousins, and going to church. We are so blessed to have our little men with us, learning the ropes of farm/ranch life!
AND this is our dog Scout!
She is fuzzy and energetic and a part of our family!
